How to get a compression socks through insurance?
Start by filling out our order form. From there you'll select your size, color, and quantity preferences. Our team will then send a prescription request to your healthcare provider and submit the insurance claim to TRICARE directly on your behalf.
Are compression socks a covered benefit through TRICARE?
Yes, TRICARE covers medical-grade compression socks when related directly to a covered medical condition and obtained from a medical supply company, like militarycompression.com.
How many pairs of compression socks can I order?
- TRICARE Active duty service members are eligible for up to 12 pairs of fully covered compression socks per year.
- TRICARE Non-active duty service members are eligible for up to 2 pairs of compression socks per year. Copays and deductibles apply.

Do I need a prescription?
Yes. TRICARE requires you to have a prescription for compression socks to process your claim. Our staff will ensure that your prescription has the necessary information, and we are happy to assist you with obtaining a prescription for your compression socks.
When will I receive my compression socks?
- Most patients receive their compression socks within a week of placing their order. It may be longer, however, if there are problems confirming your eligibility with TRICARE or if we are unable to obtain a prescription from your healthcare provider. We will notify you if any such issues arise.
- With most orders, your compression socks will ship as soon as we receive your prescription. We ship all orders with free standard ground shipping (3 to 7 business days). You will receive a tracking number via email within 24 hours of your order leaving our warehouse.

Will a claim be submitted to TRICARE?
Claims are submitted to TRICARE after the product has shipped. The shipment date is the date that is submitted to your insurance company to indicate when the service was provided. This is known as the date of service.
Can I return my compressions socks if I do not like them?
On behalf of Military Compression (operated by 1 Natural Way, LLC), thank you for your business and for your service. While we hope that you are pleased with the items you've selected, we do understand that returns are sometimes necessary. If that is the case, we want to make the return process as clear as possible. However, please note that worn compression socks are personal hygiene items and cannot be returned. Please refer to our return policy.
